Introducing our young Hanoverian stallion, Hollingrove Dante. Sired by Dancier and out of Lady De Luxe (imp), HG Dante carries the famous bloodlines of De Niro, Londonderry, Lauries Crusader, Akzent II, Espri and more.
Bred by Hollingrove stud in Victoria, HG Dante is the result of carefully chosen bloodlines. His sire, Dancier, is by the great De Niro who needs no introduction. Valued in Germany as a producer of quality sires and dressage horses, Dancier throws the good looks and talent that are also reflected in his sons. Dante’s dam Lady De Luxe (Londonderry, Akzent II, Lauries Crusader), is a state premium awarded mare who was imported to Australia at great expense by Mary Hanna. She was unbeaten in the dressage arena before being turned to stud for her valuable bloodlines. She also won Champion Warmblood Mare or Filly at the Royal Melbourne show in 2010.
Possessing powerful uphill movement with suspension that has to be seen to be believed, an elegant shoulder and excellent length of rein plus a strong hind quarter, HG Dante has all the qualities to make a top dressage mount in the future. Being black with “bling” (also the colour of both his parents) and possessing the refined silhouette of a modern warmblood he will also dazzle in the show ring. Dante is tested as homozygous black so cannot produce chestnut foals.
His personality is endearing and inquisitive, with an easy going, trainable nature that makes him a pleasure to own. Dante has passed on his good looks, his amazing movement and trainability to his first offspring born last season.
HG Dante will stand at stud to a limited number of mares via chilled or fresh semen available from Ovens Valley Equine, Tarrawingee.
